Crystal Prep was founded in March,2024 by Aishwarya Kohli,
a passionate French language trainer and TEF Canada exam achiever. Having personally experienced the challenges of learning French and preparing for the TEF Canada exam, she recognized a critical gap in the industry—many instructors were misleading students with unrealistic promises and failing to provide the right guidance for exam success.
Determined to change this, Aishwarya established Crystal Prep to offer students clear, structured, and results-driven French language training. She believes that with the right approach, quality teaching, and a supportive learning environment, anyone can achieve their desired score in the TEF Canada exam.
Story of our lead Instructor

Aishwarya Kohli, scored CLB 8+ score in TEF Canada, knows well how much effort it can take for someone to learn French without any background in the language. She was born in India and is living in Michigan with her husband and baby on an H1B visa, which most skilled professionals obtain to work in the United States. However, the HIB visa is tied to employment - and a worker risks losing residency if they become unemployed. Seeking more stability, Ms. Kohli looked to move to Canada. After spending 14 months learning French, she passed the TEF test last September, and her family - now with permanent resident status - is moving to Toronto this fall.
